1. Unqualified rotational strength
An important indicator in the manufacture and use of grinding wheels - rotational strength. Diamond Grinding Wheel The hardness of the diamond abrasive determines the main characteristics of the diamond grinding wheel, which can efficiently grind hard alloys, glass, ceramics and other difficult-to-machine materials, and the grinding tools have the longest service life. The diamond grinding wheel uses diamond abrasive as raw material, and uses metal powder, resin powder, ceramics and electroplated metal as binders respectively. The circular bonded abrasive tool with a through hole in the center is called diamond grinding wheel (alloy grinding wheel). Products with unqualified rotational strength are classified as dangerous or unsafe for users or equipment; fatal defects; all the rotational strengths of the grinding wheel in the spot check must be qualified.
2. Unqualified static balance Static balance means that when the grinding wheel rotates, the vibration is caused because the center of mass does not coincide with the center of rotation. The harm caused by the unbalance of the grinding wheel is roughly as follows: a) The vibration caused by the unbalance accelerates the wear of the main shaft of the grinding machine (a basic type of component failure); b) The center of gravity of the grinding wheel does not coincide with the axis of rotation, at high speed Vibration is generated during rotation, which affects the machining quality and machine tool accuracy (precision), and in severe cases, can cause machine damage and grinding wheel breakage. c) Vibration lines are prone to appear on the surface of the workpiece to be processed, and the machining accuracy and surface roughness deteriorate; d) The grinding wheel wears unevenly, which affects the uniformity of the self-sharpening of the grinding wheel. e) Defects with unqualified static balance that seriously reduce the performance of the product and have a serious impact on the performance of the processed parts are classified as serious defects.
3. Unqualified hardness The hardness of the grinding wheel reflects the grinding performance and is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of the grinding wheel. If it is too hard, it will affect the grinding quality; if it is too soft, the service life of the grinding wheel will be short.
4, the end face runout, radial runout unqualified end face runout, radial runout unqualified will cause the grinding wheel to rotate and affect the balance performance, which should be controlled within the allowable range. Diamond Grinding Wheel The hardness of the diamond abrasive determines the main characteristics of the diamond grinding wheel, which can efficiently grind hard alloys, glass, ceramics and other difficult-to-machine materials, and the grinding tools have the longest service life.
